This blog sprung from a conversation with one of the wonderful parents of two of our beautiful dancers. She had spent a good amount of time online looking for resources to help her, help her girls further their dance education at home. She mentioned that she would love it if we could provide some of that information so that next time her ballet 1 student wanted to know the translation of “epaulement” they would have somewhere to go.
So here we are! Don’t worry, it won’t all be French translations and ballet history (though that could be fun). If you’re interested in becoming more involved with your dancer, his/her dance education and/or Dance Concepts, this is the place for you.
In the future look for:
- How to do a ballet bun in the time you’re stopped at a red light
- Ways to help your child become a better dancer at home (and in the car)
- Fun facts about your favorite dance teachers
- Updates on the DC competition team
You won’t want to miss it, so hit that bookmark button and check back soon.
