I love the chaos of summer, but there is something about September, with the regular rhythm of having a routine again that just feels like comfort. So many of dancers are starting school for the first time, or transitioning into their first year of all day school, and the first week or two can feel really hard, but September is where they start to find their stride and really excel.

Facebook Groups
We have two Facebook groups for parents to communicate (I know – who uses Facebook anymore? But it’s still the best way for group communication). They are great places to share photos with other dance parents, and even work out a carpool. We’ll also post studio news there.

Absent Dancers
Team members who miss classes need to do a makeup. You’ll find a makeup slip with your name on it on the board in the hallway. Grab it and have the teacher sign it in the class you are doing as a makeup. If you know you have to miss class, you can do your makeup in advance. Just get a blank slip signed and we’ll fill out the top when you are absent. Not sure what class to come to for a makeup? Ask your teacher or the front desk for help choosing.
