The Hydes will tell you that you call all of your best dance friends until you find one (Natalie) who hasn’t left yet and is willing to bring your costume to you.
What do you do when it’s FRIDAY night, you’re in St George, and you realize that the tutu you need to perform TOMORROW is still in Salt Lake? The Edwards will tell you that you buy it a seat on the St George shuttle!
It was a rough weekend for tutus, but a great weekend to be dancing on our team!

Saturday started early. Ascend had a 6:30 call time! The flu has been going through our team and SIX of our dances were missing at least one dancer due to illness. Everyone made adjustments and they ended up looking great.

In addition to performing Saturday our dancers had the opportunity to take a master class with Audrey Parker. Ariel was chosen from that class as one of the stand out dancers and made it the semi finals! Way to go Ariel!!
