Wear Your Halloween Costume to Dance
All dancers are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to dance October 25-30th! We’ll still be dancing, so wear a leotard or something underneath so you can still stretch and move. Have more than one day of class? This is a great chance to wear an old dance costume!

Christmas Recital
Our Winter Recital is December 11th. This month, along with you October tuition you’ll see a $30 costume rental fee for any classes performing in the show. We’re doing a Home Alone themed show this winter and can’t wait for you to see it!
Fundriaser
Each year our competition team sells Butterbraid Breads as a fundraiser to help pay for their competition expenses. We like this fundraiser because the dancers keep a good percentage of what they sell, and it’s easy to sell year after year because people like the product. You don’t have to be part of our competition team to participate! You can fundraise to pay for your recital costume, or even just your tuition. Pick up a fundraiser order form at the front desk if you’d like to participate. Be sure to stop by next week – orders are due October 20th!
Dance Concepts Jacket Orders
Need a Christmas present? Or just want one of our awesome Dance Concepts warm up jackets? Order one at the front desk by October 21st! Jackets are stretchy and comfortable. They cost $50 and are available with a bow on the back or without. You can also customize it with your dancer’s name for an additional $10.
Competition Team News
Parent meetings are this week. This is the only time we’ll meet until right before our first competition so please, please try and be there. If you can’t make your meeting, you can always come to another team’s time.
- Mini – October 5th 5:00
- Prodigy – October 5th 4:30
- Ascend – October 6th 7:30
- Jr Elite – October 6th 7:00
- Sr Elite – We will hand out info during class. Parents do not need to attend
- Hip Hop – If you are on a Hip Hop Crew and not on any other team we recommend you come to the Ascend parent meeting but you are welcome to attend whichever is most convenient for you.
