Winter Recital
Our winter recital is just around the corner! We’ll be performing at Hillcrest Junior High School on December 17h. It’s a Grinch themed show and will be fun for the whole family! Your dancer will bring a note home with all of the specifics for your individual class the week after Thanksgiving.
Tickets are $7 if purchased in advance, or $10 at the door. You can buy advance tickets at the front desk starting next week.

Fundraiser Pick Up
Did you participate in this year’s fundraiser? Don’t forget to pick up your Butter Braids Monday, November 7th 5:00-7:30 at the Sandy studio. The bread comes frozen and needs to remain frozen so you’ll need to pick them up that night. (We don’t have a freezer at the studio!)
Thanksgiving Break
Dance Concepts will be closed for Thanksgiving break November 22-25th. We WILL be having classes on Monday the 21st to make up for those classes being off on Halloween.
Competition Team Updates
Don’t forget the first half of your competition fees are due November 10th. If you have not pre-paid they will be charged to your credit card that day.
We mentioned this last month, but just in case you missed it, the Arise competition dates have changed since our parent meetings. We will be attending Arise May 4-6 in Herriman. We will not be attending any competition in April. If you have any questions please respond to this email.
Finally, since some of our soloists will be heading down to St George on Thursday, March 16th, please mark the following changes on your calendar:
- Sr Elite will NOT have class March 16th. Instead we will hold an extra rehearsal Wednesday, March 15th at 8:30. We expect all Sr Elite dancers to be there. You have plenty of time to plan in advance.
- Ascend and Apprentice company will not have class on March 16th. Instead we will rehearse both of these dances March 14th at 6:30. Please mark your calendars.
- Mini company will have their regularly scheduled classes on March 16th.
