This last month a handful of our dancers from our Junior and Senior Teams went to the Nexus Dance Convention at the Mountain America Expo Center. They got to take master classes from a bunch of different teachers who have extensive careers in the dance industry. They learned from Johanna Sapakie, Barry Youngblood and Madeline Mihaceviah just to name a few. Not only did they have amazing energy and fun choreography they offered great advice to our dancers.
Four of our dancers even made it to round 2 of auditions and Ila Hyde walked away with a scholarship to come back next year! Way to go Ila!!
This is a great way to expand our dancing and get out of the studio and learn from new people and other dancers! We plan to go again next year – come join us!
