January Newsletter 2022

I love the new year!  It feels so good to be back in a routine and I have been loving seeing all of the new sneakers Santa brought our dancers.

Upcoming Holidays

We are OPEN ons MLK day and Presidents day.   We don’t want our Monday classes to be shorted, so we’ll be holding classes.

It’s especially important for our competition team members to be in classes as we gear up for the competition season so please plan accordingly.

Costume Fees

Costume fees for our spring recital are charged on January 16th.  These are the costumes that you’ll wear for picture day and the ones you get to keep at the end of the year!  Costumes are $65 for classes ages 3-6 and $75 for older classes.  The spring recital will be held May 20th.

Win a $100 Amazon Gift Card and Help DC at the Same Time!

We are doing a big push to get more Google reviews and we need your help!  Write us a Google review during the month of January and we’ll enter you in a drawing to win a $100 Amazon gift card!

Leave your review here for the Sandy location or here for the Bluffdale location. Thank you SO much for your help!

New 2 Year Old Class

We have a new Dance with Me class starting next week!  This class is for 2 year olds (or shy 3 year olds who aren’t ready for a class without a parent.)  It’s 30 minutes of pre-ballet and creative movement.  Since two can be a little young to be in class on their own, moms (dads, grandparents or nannies) attend class with their dancer and help them along.

This class takes place Thursdays at 5:30 and is taught by the AMAZING Miss Ali!  If you know a 2 year old who would like to dance, send them our way!

Competition Team:

Hey team members!  We are getting so excited for our competition season to start!  Dances are looking great and costumes are starting to come in!

Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal for all of our competition teams is coming up February 18th.  All of dress rehearsal will take place at the Sandy location.  Please arrive at the studio at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time so that you can warm up and be sure you are ready.

The full team meeting is for both dancers and parents.  We’ll go over costume notes and anything you need to know before our first competition.  Bring a sack lunch to eat with your friends!

After the team meeting, when all of your dances have finished, you’re free to go.
