Last weekend we took a few of our soloist to the Onstage New York competition at the Salt Palace.  We’re especially proud of Jenna Johnson for winning a special judge’s award recognizing her intensity while performing her solo.  This is Jenna’s 7th year with Dance Concepts and we’ve loved watching her go from a timid

We kicked off our competition dance season with a great weekend in St. George.  The competition began Friday afternoon with solos, duets, and trios.  Seeing the dances on stage for the first time really brought them to life.  All of our soloists did a great job and we want to give an extra round of

Here’s the plan for St. George.  The competition is being held at Desert Hills High School (828 E. Desert Hills Dr.)  This is different from past years – do not go to Dixie High School, you will be at the wrong competition!

This past weekend we hosted a party and sleepover for our competition teams.  We danced, we ate, we decorated flip flops, we even slept a little.  Even our Mini Team joined in the fun (though they went home before bed time).  We had a great time getting to know each other better and can’t wait
