Audition registration is from 6:00-6:30. The audition will run from 6:30-8:30. Dancers should come prepared for both ballet and jazz. We will begin with a short, ballet class. Please be dressed appropriately. Dancers will then be given 10 minutes to change shoes and prepare for the jazz portion of the audition.
Dance Concepts dancers who will be in Levels 2-5 next season are encouraged to attend. Dancers who will be in Rising Stars or Level 1 and want to join a competition team do not need to audition, but should speak to their teacher or the front desk about joining the team. Auditions are also open to dancers not currently studying at Dance Concepts, but students should have some dance experience.
We will not be holding Level 4 and 5 classes that night. Dancers should attend the audition in place of their regularly scheduled class.
If you absolutely cannot attend the audition but would still like to be considered for placement on a team, please let the front desk know this week.
