Arise Schedule – 2024

Admission to this competition is FREE!! So if you want to invite family and friends this is a great one for that!

Programs will be available for $5.  You can also get a free digital program on the Arise app:   https://arise.tourproapps.com.  There *should* also be a live stream available.

Saturday is a TIGHT schedule. We’ve changed the hair assignments for a LOT of our dances to make it easier. Even with that, we know there are some quick changes.  Please review the hair listed in the schedule below and let us know if you have any questions about what is required for your team.

Erica will have a token for each dancer to get their participation award.  Arise lets dancers choose from a variety of things.  Be sure you ask Erica for your token before the day is over.

When You Arrive:

• You should be at the school 90 minutes before you are scheduled to perform.  Arise may run up to 30 minutes early and we want to be prepared.
• Come find our dressing room
• Get your token from Erica
• If your dancer is young enough to need supervision, please stay in the dressing room with us until it is time for our whole class to go backstage together.  Stay with us as we stretch and run through the dance.
• If your dancer is at the competition with a male parent who can’t be in the dressing room, or if you need to leave for some reason, please coordinate with a parent you trust and/or let our staff know so we can introduce you to a trustworthy parent. 
• Let your dancer know in advance that you’ll meet them back in the dressing room a few minutes after they finish performing.
• We’ll bring the class back to the dressing room to meet up with you.

There are many quick changes for us on Saturday.  Please check your schedule well in advance and be prepared and ready to go.

All High Pony and High Bun dances are slicked back with no part, no bangs.  You should be able to see the ponytail from the front.  Pony’s should be straight unless you have naturally very curly hair.  Buns should be secured with a hairnet that matches your hair color.

Other Notes from Arise

On Saturday, our dressing room will be the Track room. If you need help finding it, look for Dance Concepts t-shirts or ask an Arise worker at the checkin desk.

Please only park in designate parking stalls. Please don’t park illegally, this puts your vehicle at risk of being ticketed and/or towed. Driving Range will open after 10:00 am on Saturday. Please don’t park in front of the gates. Roy police may patrol, so choose wisely.

Please no food or drink (other than water) inside the auditorium. This is strictly enforced.
