Last weekend the Dance Concepts competition teams attended Arise in Roy! This was our only THREE DAY competition this season. In addition to the scores listed below, as a studio we were awarded Best Choreography and Intermediate Reserve Grand Champion!
While we performed well, the weekend was not without it’s hiccups! Miss Julie left a costume at home on Saturday. She had taken some straps in for Bella and thought the costume was in her car, but no. Amelia saved the day stopping in Draper to pick it up on her way to support the team!
Katherine Cr was in a nasty scooter accident the Wednesday before the competition and had a lot of road rash! She scratched her solo, but bandaged herself up well enough to compete with her teams on Saturday.
Ayara’s family got a flat tire on the way to the competition. Her team ended up having to go on without her (going on to win a Judges Choice Award for Showmanship!). She was so sad to miss her team, and we were just as sad to miss her.
