Competition Team Auditions
Auditions for next year’s competition teams are coming up May 17th! Have you been thinking about taking your dance experience to the next level? Want to join a team where you’ll become closer with the other dancers and work together toward a goal? Mark your calendars and plan on attending auditions on May 17th!
We have a variety of teams with different ability and commitment levels so it’s likely we’ll have something that’s a good fit for your dancer. If you have questions, or just want to know if your dancer would be a good fit for one of our teams, email us at info@danceconceptsutah.com. We’d love to chat with you about and can even consult with your teacher about the chances of finding a great team fit for your dancer.

Recital
Our year end recital is May 31st at Hillcrest Junior High School. This year we are doing one big show this year that will start at 2:00.
Tickets to the recital are $10 but you can get them for just $7 if you buy them in advance. They will be available at the front desk in May.
Picture Days
Picture days in your recital costumes are May 5th-7th. You can find the schedule as well as instructions on how to order at on here
. All of the cute pictures you see in these newsletters came from last year’s picture day! Even if you don’t plan to buy individual pictures, come be in your class picture so your friends will have a memory of you and we can put your picture up on the wall at the studio!
Word of the Month
Our word of the month is “learn.” I find learning new things and new skills to be one of the things that makes me enjoy life. Sometimes we can get frustrated that we aren’t “there” yet but when we find joy in the learning, so much in life opens up to us.
