Our first competition of the season is around the corner. After dress rehearsal this past weekend, I couldn’t be more excited.

When You Arrive:
- There is free parking in the northeast lot
- You should be at the school 90 minutes before you are schedule to perform. Aspire may run up to 30 minutes early and we want to be prepared.
- Come find our dressing room
- If your dancer is young enough to need supervision, please stay in the dressing room with us until it is time for our whole class to go backstage together. Stay with us as we stretch and run through the dance.
- If your dancer is at the competition with a male parent who can’t be in the dressing room, or if you need to leave for some reason, please coordinate with a parent you trust and/or let our staff know so we can introduce you to a trustworthy parent.
There are some quicker changes for us on Saturday. Please check your schedule well in advance and be prepared and ready to go.
Dance Times:
The times listed above are the times we expect your dancer to perform. You should be there 90 minutes before your listed time. If you are late, it puts extra stress on the rest of your teammates and teacher.

Notes from Dress Rehearsal:
Prodigy: Your lyrical hair piece goes on the dancer’s right side along their hair line. Mila, remember to wear more hairspray. Eve, make sure you’re in the correct lipstick.
Freshman Crew: Wear black spandex shorts under your dress or skirt and then tuck your shirt into it. I will have undershirts for all of you this Thursday. Bows face the front. Make sure you lotion your legs before you go on stage.
Junior Elite: Cut the hanger loops out of your contemporary costumes.
Teen: Make sure your parts are straight and centered
Senior Jazz: If you want to wear a bra under your jazz costume, try it on at home and make sure it doesn’t show.
Senior Crew: Find some earrings you like for your costume.
Everyone: No nail polish on stage!
