Winter Recital

Our winter recital will be December 20th at Hillcrest Junior High School.  This year’s theme is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”  The show will be based on the Jim Carey movie, If you haven’t seen it in a while (or ever!) give it a watch. Stay tuned, there might even be a visit from The Grinch himself on stage!

Our show will be at 2:00.  Dancers will need to arrive at 1:30 to get changed into their costume and prepared with their class. We will have your dancers costume at the school when you arrive.

All audience members over the age of 2 need a ticket – dancers performing in the show do not. We will send out a reminder when tickets become available, Tickets will be $10 at the door, or you can buy discounted tickets for $7 at the front desk through December 18th once available.

Word of the Month

This months word is ENDURANCE.

Like most things worth doing in life, improving as a dancer takes time and effort.  Sometimes, putting that time and effort feels like pure joy!  The music, the movement, the presence!  Other times, it might not be so easy, but we put in the effort because we decide to stay true to our goal.  This is where endurance comes in.  In the times when it feels easy AND in the times when it feels hard, we keep showing up.  We keep working hard.  We grow our endurance muscle.  And because of that we are better dancers and stronger, more confident humans.
