Dance Classes Start August 18th!
As we approach a new year of school and a new year of dance I”m reminded of how much i LOVE learning. I love learning new skills myself and I love watching our dancers learn. I love watching them soak things up, try something new, push past frustration, and suddenly get it. It’s magic.
There’s joy in progress, in the little “aha” moments that build into big breakthroughs. There’s joy in falling, trying again, and realizing you’re stronger than you thought. Whether you’re working toward your first clean double pirouette or learning how to lead with kindness, this season is full of chances to grow and I’m here for all of it.
If you’re not registered yet – it’s time! Classes begin August 18th. Log into your Parent Portal and claim your classes ASAP. If you want some help choosing the best class for your dancer, you can just respond to this email and I’d be happy to help you out.

Last TNT of the Summer – August 9th!
Join us Saturday, August 9th for our last TNT of the summer! Hone your technique, get a good stretch and learn a new Jazz combo!
Competition team dancers can use this as a makeup to keep in the bank for future absences. Non-competition dancers are welcome as well. Come see how much fun Saturdays are at the studio!

Dress Code
Great classes start before you even step into the studio. When you dress like a dancer, you act like a dancer, you MOVE like a dancer.
Make sure you’re ready by reviewing our dress code:
Wearing the right attire isn’t just about looking the part. It helps your teacher see your alignment, sets the tone for class, and shows respect for your teacher, your classmates, and most importantly, yourself.
And while you’re at it, it’s a good time to double-check if those dance shoes still fit. 😉
Office Hours
Have you grown out of your dance shoes? Need a new leotard? Just want to talk to someone in person about your registration? Stop by the front desk before classes start!
Stop by August 11th or August 13th between 5:00-7:00. Alina and Amelia will be at the desk and would love to see you!
We’re happy to help you the first week of classes too – just know that the desk gets BUSY and often has a wait that week.
Annual First Day of Dance Photo Contest
Every year we run a photo contest for the best First Day of Dance picture! Just post a picture of your first day of dance and tag us on instagram (if you don’t tag us we won’t see it – if we don’t see it, you can’t win). If our staff chooses you as the winner you’ll get a new dance outfit!
