Dance Concepts Alumni in New York City Ballet's The Nutcracker

For dancers, nothing says Christmas like The Nutcracker.  PBS is airing New York City Ballet’s production of this holiday classic tonight at 7:00 and tomorrow at 11:00PM.  Be sure to set your DVRs because former Dance Concepts dancer, Megan Fairchild, will be performing as the Sugar Plum Fairy!  This particular airing is also special because it is done all in one live take so what you’re seeing is as close to what the audience sees as possible.  It will be rebroadcast on Christmas Eve to United States service men and women on Christmas Eve.  For more information and an interesting history of the ballet check out http://www.pbs.org/programs/live-from-lincoln-center/.
