Saturday started with master classes for all of our dancers.  They got to learn choreography from Alex Clark who has danced on TV shows (Glee/VH1’s “Hit the Floor”), commercials (Doritos/Just Dance 4) and music videos (Robin Thicke/Sky Stevens).  Alex selected finalists from each class to perform the choreography on stage later that day.  Our dancers (especially our younger guys!) were fantastic and 9 of our team members were selected to dance in the finals before awards.  In the Petite/Mini division Yuliana took third place and Morgan won it all!  Then Saige won the Junior division!  Each of them received Releve gift cards.

Our teams performed well and were rewarded for it.  Level 5 completely swept the Senior Competitive Division Overall awards by winning the division (Voice Things) and also taking second (In This Shirt) and third (Wicked Games).  Aint Nothing Wrong was awarded Mini Recreational High Point Champion on their first time out.  La La La won their first overall as well receiving Mini Novice 2nd Overall.   Close My Eyes and There Will Be Time both won High Point Pink Diamonds.

It was a great weekend and we had so much fun spending time together as a team.  I am truly proud when I see our dances out there putting their all into what they are doing.  It takes guts to really go for it – and guts we have.
