Picture Day Schedule

Lee_Reagan_DanceConcepts_AT_9478The picture day schedule is listed below.  Please note that the dates are May 12th and 13th! All dancers are invited to be in the class photo.  In order to have your individual picture taken you must preorder by going to www.amylynnstudios.com and clicking on "Pre-Pay For Pictures." You will then click on Dance Concepts.  Write down your order number and bring it with you to picture day.  After pictures have been taken you will be able to go online and select which poses you want for your prints.  This photographer does a great job and unlike with most dance or sports photographers you'll have 5-7 poses to choose from! Competition team dancers who are in a solo, duet, or trio need to sign up at the front desk for a picture time.  We can only take a limited number of solo dancers in each slot. (more…)

Utah Dance Fest Recap

Friday some of our soloists went up to Logan for Utah Dance Fest.  This wasn’t one of our official team competitions, but something extra that our solos and duets could choose to do.  We had a great time and we’re so proud of our team for dancing well, being kind, and giving so much love and support to their teammates. Utah Dance Fest Schedule

For our soloists to chose to attend Utah Dance Fest:

UDF is in a new location this year.  It's being held at Mount Logan Middle School (875 N. 200 E. in Logan).  Admission is $7.  Dancers performing that day do not need to pay admission but all spectators do.  Programs will also be available for $5. (more…)

One Day Ballet Intensive With Recently Retired ABT Soloist Kristi Boone

Kristi BooneKristi, former soloist with American Ballet Theatre, has been dancing for most of her life.  Born in Rochester, New York, she started ballet exclusively at the age of 13 at the celebrated Draper Center for Dance Education. At 15, Kristi received a full scholarship to the Chautauqua Institute under the direction of Jean Pierre Bonnefeux.  The following two years she attended American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive program where she was awarded the National Coca Cola scholarship (only awarded to 5 people world-wide) for both years.
