Review: Ballet West “The Firebird”

Last Friday, Julie and I went to Ballet West’s season opening.  As is typical, their fall show is 3 shorter, unrelated ballets.  It’s my favorite format because they pack the night with a lot of variety.  Here is our quick review of the show.  If you go see it let us know what you loved (and didn’t love) too! Butter Braid Fundraiser

Butter BraidButter Braid is easily the most popular fundraiser we have ever done.  They are delicious and people love them.  Most importantly, they are highly profitable for our dancers.  Last year our top selling family earned $440 profit! Participation is entirely optional.  On average dancers who sold Butter Braid last year profited $87. We primarily run this fundraiser for our competition team members, but any of our dancers are welcome to participate and use what they earn towards their tuition or spring costume fees.   Pick up an order form at the front desk starting today!  (more…)
